Hari Om Friends, I am Sunil Kumar Sharma, a member of Gangasagar fair from "Sankalp Camp". "Sankalp" Which provide a free shelter and food arrangement for the pilgrims coming to the Gangasagar fair. Every year thousands of pilgrims come to our camp from various states of the country, for whom provide food and free services to stay.
Friends, to run "Sankalp Camp" we need a lot of money. Which is "Sankalp member" has been fulfilling it for past 12 years and also "Sankalp members" give labor contribution here so that the amount can be saved. In this year we are facing lack of money which is a matter of concern for the camp.
About Sagar Island

Sagar island is an island in the Ganges delta, lying on the continental shelf of Bay of Bengal about 100 km (54 nautical miles) south of Kolkata.
This island, also known as Gangasagar or Sagardwip, is a place of Hindu pilgrimage. Every year on the day of Makar Sankranti (14 January), hundreds of thousands of Hindus gather to take a holy dip at the confluence of river Ganges and Bay of Bengal and offer prayers (puja) in the Kapil Muni Temple.
"Sankalp Camp" requesting you that donate to Gangasagar fair for 2018 (10 rupees, 20 rupees, 50 rupees), whatever can be done.

LAST YEAR WE SERVE 1281 PILGRIMS IN OUR CAMP (10th to 15th January )

Pay Rs. 52,000/- to District Collector Office for hire land and water supply about (25,000 square feet)
Rs. 15,000/- for electricity (generator)
Rs. 35,000/- to making tent (Camp)
Rs. 20,000/- for hire mattress, rajaai (quilt-becouse low temprature) pillow, chair, etc
Rs. 30,000 for making seven Shouchalaya (Latrine)
Rs. 14,000/- to hire a cook (8 member)
Rs. 200,000+/- for purchase Eatables. like, vasmati rice, daal, vegitables, ghee, plates, tea, coffie, milk, sweets, sugar, etc for about 1000 people.
Rs. 12,000/- Hire a truck kolkata to Ganga Sagar (110km) for carring goods and other things
All sankalp members give money contribution for our camp which is suitable for run Sankalp camp. Unfortunately for 2018 we could not arrenge suitable money. Every year we expense Rs.500,000+/- for elder pilgrims. We need some help to run Sankalp camp continously.
