This photograph is of Mr. Sanjay Jha who sells masala chana at Saket Anupam PVR complex in New Delhi. He carries this self built contraption around his neck all day - at least till 9:30PM in the night. He makes several walking trips from Anupam PVR to J-Block market Saket, and can go upto Chirag Dilli trying to sell his items, and then walks back. This happens a several times during the day. That's a long journey to cover on foot with such an uncomfortable load! He works 7 days a week carrying this loaded basket. His only protection from the iron wires and heavy weight is a thin cotton towel (visible). It is very uncomfortable and definately not good for his body. 

He does all this work happily. We go to our office and work in relative comfort while he toils in the Delhi heat with this baggage. He does this to support his family which includes 5 children (all in school). 

All this would become a lot easier if he had a bicycle with a carrier. He would be able to travel his distances faster and more comfortably, and would save time which he can hopefully spend with his family. We want to help make his daily life a little easier.
