My name is Sanghamitra and I am here to fund-raise for my mother. She is only 50 years old and currently diagnosed Dilated Cardiomyopathy with Severe LV dysfunction EF - 20% for which she needs Heart Transplantation.

I have a small and very happy family, me and my parents. since 2012 my mother had been diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis. So she was under mediation for that. Then one odd day suddenly she got severe heart pain and we rushed to the nearest hospital and admitted. As there doctors said, my mother’s heart had become too weak and it could only improve with the medication if she was lucky. She even had tough time to breathe and walk normally. Almost we lost all hope.

While I was in Bangalore for studies, one of my cousin advised me to consult a specialist in Narayana Hrudayalaya hospital, Bangalore. After the consultation of reports and some tests, doctor has advised for the heart transplant and assured 100% recovery. Currently she is diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy. Any time she can expect a massive cardiac arrest (that can take her life) before which she must undergo heart transplantation. While doctors are waiting to identify a matching heart. Once a matching organ is identified, the proposed surgery will take place over there and the surgery must take place within 3 - 7hrs.

I just want to do anything and everything to help her get the heart transplant and live. She is my biggest strength, guide and my best friend in life.

 I just started my career in a MNC in Bangalore and only breadwinner in my family. My salary isn’t enough to feed my parents, bear the expense's of medicines and her treatment at NH hospital. We have an estimate of 15 Lakhs for the treatment, the post-surgery will be also highly expensive. As you all know, it will be insane to hunt for money at this moment.
