My Family was traveling from Mumbai-Pune highway and were hit by a truck and my Aunt died on the spot. My dad was seriously injured and was in ICU. His cervical spinal cord was damaged badly making him completely bedridden. He has lost his senses and the doctors have said that he shall be bedridden and needs constant physiotherapy for the next 18-24 months.  My Mum also has fractured her hand and not able to assist and needs constant attention. I lost my job as I was not able to report to work as I have to care for both my parents. The medical expense has been huge on the family and not all expenses are covered by insurance.
