I always have the urge to study at a great university, and this year I have received the Letter of Offer in MSc in Automotive Engineering at Coventry University (click here for my offer letter). I’m very glad to accept this offer as this University is ranked top 10 in the UK.

This study program would help me to expand the field of view over the automobile sector. The course of study would give me essential skill sets in focus at a workplace. I would precisely implement the skill set I gain in designing and put forth my idea when it comes to Research and Development. My prior target is to focus on the racing sector. Personally, this course of study will also help me to discover myself by gaining an understanding of a different culture. Being in a new place can be overwhelming at times, my ability to adapt to diverse situations and improves my problem-solving skill as well.

 

I’m  Sai Prasad Ramesh, and I cleared my diploma in Mechatronics Engineering from PSG College of Technology which is a top ranking college in South India, in the year 2011, and I completed my Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering in the year 2014 and with two and a half years of work experience in Mechanical Design.

I’m a middle-class Indian engineer and always have a strong passion towards the automotive sector. Since childhood, I had a great interest in Racing Sports and Cars. Of course, United Kingdom is well-known for its racing. From Aston Martin to Williams every manufacturer belongs to the United Kingdom and I greatly admire Formula One racing since my childhood and wish to be a part of that team in future, and I will work hard to achieve this goal.

I have not been awarded any of the scholarships of Coventry University. As an international student, it’s highly tough for me to afford the University fees and living cost. Due to my families limitations, I couldn’t go for the higher amount of loan as my father got expired few years back. I’ve applied for a short loan which covers only part of the expense, and in this crowd funding campaign, I’m kindly asking you to help me raise INR 10,00,000 to cover the tuition cost.

 

As a Mechanical Designer, my projects include mechanical design of 3d printers which are into the global market and can be viewed in www.3ding.in. This work of mine was widely appreciated among product development, and stakeholders as the solution provided by me were well received as it cut 30% of the time and saved approximately 18% of funds allocated to design and develop Fab X Pro-3D Printer. My findings were also utilized to develop pre-launch marketing strategies, and the product got launched on early 2016. In addition to this, I have designed India’s low-cost 3D printer, and you can view the time-lapse video of the printer which I have attached below.
