Hello, This fundraiser is for one of my close friends Sailaja, a simple housewife living in a small town in Andhra Pradesh. She got married to her childhood sweetheart in the year 2005. After 9 long years, their dream of starting a family was fulfilled and they now have a 3-year-old boy. But as fate has it, their journey of a small and sweet happy family life is abruptly cut short and came to a standstill. Sailaja has been diagnosed with advanced stage Pancreatic Cancer.

It all started with a severe abdominal pain a few months back. She went for an ultrasound and after noticing stones in her gallbladder, the doctors removed it through surgery. The pain, however, did not subside, even after the recovery period. They visited several doctors in the small town and finally, a Gastroenterologist ordered an FNAC(fine-needle aspiration cytology) test and diagnosed that she has fourth stage pancreatic cancer.

Coming from a middle-class family, the high treatment cost (around 10-12 lac rupees) is making life very hard for them. They have spent all their savings on her treatment so far. While the pain she is going through is unimaginable in itself, the hospital bills are driving them into deep financial distress. We are trying to help the family by easing their financial burden and praying for any help to raise funds so that Sailaja can get the best treatment possible.
