HELP US FIGHT UNEMPLOYMENT!

Hi I'm Saanvi and I work with the Humari Panchan Ngo. Hamari Pahchan NGO strives to kick start people’s journey towards financial stability. In order to achieve this we conducted an extensive research drive in Delhi, to understand the hurdles and barriers that people come across while looking for jobs.

Unemployment touched an all time high as the pandemic engulfed employment opportunities. With countless breadwinners on the streets, families starved on a daily basis. Research tells us that one in four women in urban areas is unemployed. Thus, Hamari Pahchan has come up with an initiative called the SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM. As a part of this program we aim to provide employment opportunities to underprivileged women through vocational training programs and workshops to impart necessary skills to the ones in need. As a part of the Skill Development Program initiative, we also provide a platform to a range of handmade products made entirely by underprivileged women with an aim to empower and encourage them to become an entrepreneur. As of today, this initiative has changed the lives of hundreds of women
