Greetings!

This is in consonance to the Girl Up Campaign, UN Foundation first ever Regional Summit in India going to be organised by GirlUp Delhi Coalition. Since Girl Up’s launch in 2010, we’ve partnered with the United Nations to support comprehensive programs that give adolescent girls in developing countries an equal chance for education, health, social and economic opportunities, and a life free from violence.Girls encounter major obstacles and discrimination in their lives, and they experience them early. We need to work toward a world where all adolescent girls can go to school, see a doctor, and stay safe from violence. It is critical to reducing poverty and driving social and economic change.Achieving all of this won’t be an easy task, and it won’t happen overnight, but that’s no excuse not to act. In fact, it is the reason to step up our collective efforts, because when you invest in a girl, you are investing in her family, her community, and our world.
Girl Up supports the Action for Adolescent Girls initiative, run by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), in the Rajasthan region of India. The goal of the program is to protect adolescent girls’ rights and help girls delay marriage and have children when they are ready. The program educates girls and women on important health issues and make them more aware of public services available to them. Additionally, the program aims to educate girls – who are both in and out of school – as well as provide them with vocational skills so they are able to one day earn an income.
Towards this we are organising our first ever event advocating girls rights which will take place on 31st August'2019 at New Delhi, India. However towards it, we will not be able to reach our maximum effectiveness without your support. That's why I'm reaching out to you in reference to sponsors that can be made by your organisation towards it. We hope you will be able to contribute and appreciate your continued effort towards the community.
