Rudraksh Asheeshkumar Sharma is just 6 years old and he is fighting a battle we can't even imagine.
He has to undergone painful process of blood transfusion and have needles in his body every 14-16 days. He has iron Level of 3000 in his body which is much higher than normal human.
He was just few months old when we came to know that he has Thalassemia Major - A Blood disease where his body is unable to produce Red blood Cells by its own. We were in mental trauma when we came to know this. We went to many doctors and took opinion on this but the result was same . We had no choice but to continue with the treatment which is regular blood transfusion. he has to undergone blood transfusion every 25 days which is very painful for him as well as for us to see him in this condition.
We came to know about a permanent solution for this disease which is "Bone marrow transplant" . Which can only be happen if there is any donor who's bone marrow completely matches with Rudraksh .We went for HLA testing and found that fortunately my second born son Om has the exact bone marrow match with him. Doctors in Om Hospital LUDHIANA said Transplant is possible but the cost of transplant is 15,00,000/- INR.
I'm AsheeshKumar Sharma and I live in Haridwar Uttarakhand with my wife and 2 children. I work as Confectionery Salesman and my monthly income is 4,000/- INR Only. It's hardly manageable to complete daily needs of my family with this income and treatment of Rudraksh is in addition. We're able to manage sum of 6,73,219 INR Still we need round about 9,00,000/- INR. Doctors have given the date of operation which is 3rd January 2019.
