How this farmer (Veeresh) might end his life!!! 13 days ago Veeresh's only 10 year old son Jeevan was playing with a guava tree; He wanted to eat the guava which was on top of the tree, he took a rope climbed higher and somehow he lost control the rope looped across his neck and he was found alive in a hanging position. Now he has been hospitalized in a private hospital in Mysore and Jeevan is lying in ICU ward but in comma state. After 13th day he has opened his eyes but not responding to calls, he might get well in next few days.
Our farmer has been spending 40K / day from past 13 days on ICU and medicine charges, he has borrowed 6 lacs at a very high interest rates till today. The Karnataka State Government's insurance policy (Yashswini) doesn't apply for ICU charges, he already has a crop loan and the current hospital charges will sure lead him to suicidal thoughts. Government hospitals are in a pathetic state and the poor people just don't trust their precious lives with Government hospitals. We feel sorry for Veeresh and his son Jeevan, we will do our best.. rest is to the GOD.

We urbanites spend 250-350 bucks on a popcorn / milk shake / ice cream, just forego one pop-corn and help him.
