Roof to gather!!

The sky is blue; air is fresh, valleys are green and yet life is busy!
Spare us a minute and look into the lives of our 60 kids that are torn amidst hunger, poverty and lack of access to basic amenities of life. Time and again the tribes have been neglected and kept aloof of advancements and their rights!
Our 60 kids come from tribal and financially deprived homes where hunger, poor sanitation , alcohol abuse and unemployment plague their lives.
In 2011, we started a project that caters to the food and educational needs of 60 kids of Thottamoola village in Wayanad district. Through a series of programs, we are aiming at social rehabilitation of our kids and their families through constant support, income generation programs and a move to preserve nature at its best by relying on natural and renewable energy. Health camps, social awareness programs, teens camp are our other works in the community.
Since 2011, we have been conducting our project at a rented premise. Recently however, due to inconveniences at the premise, we have been forced to move to another plot. We desire to have a land and home for the kids, a place they can call their own. By paying an advance we have been able to register  a property. We are in need of 21 lakhs to complete the payment towards the land and build a temporary construction for the kids to gather, play and conduct their tuitions. We seek the support of generous minds like you to help us in our campaign to bring light into their lives.

Through this campaign we intend to raise 12,00,000 to buy the proposed land and build for the kids a temporary hall, where they can play and have classes, a kitchen to prepare their meals and a bathroom at the plot. The remaining amount we intend to raise from our sponsors and well wishers.
