Azad India Foundation started Girl Education Program in 30 villages in the Bahadurganj block. This program aims to mobilize, educate and mainstream 1200 out of school /never been to schoolgirls. This program is also working with the community members, religious leaders, VSS (Vidyalaya Shiksha Samities) and government schoolteachers in the intervention area. The project team also works with the girls on life skills and sexual and reproductive health issues. Currently they have enrolled 470 of 1200 girls. Although  all 1200 are studying at the study centres of Azad India Foundation.

Donate to Educate is a fund raising program started by a group of college students in the light of this pandemic. We noticed that due to covid-19, all the schools throughout the country have been shut. Bihar government has started online education in all of it's government schools. Therefore we are starting this fund raiser to raise money to buy smart phone/tablets for these girls, so that they can continue their education and don't drop out of school. Currently we're raising funds for only 150 girls who are enrolled in class 6th onwards.
