32 years old, Rekha is a mother to 2 sons who are studying in high school. Her husband is a laborer and earns about Rs. 5000 per month. About 6 months back she was suffering from high fever and headache, due to which she was taken to a local hospital. Further investigation revealed AML and hence she was shifted to TATA Memorial Hospital. Her husband and mother-in-law mortgaged their house and gold for her treatment and arranged Rs. 1,85,000.

Unfortunately, all the funds collected by her family were used up in the intensive phase of chemotherapy treatment. She needs at least Rs 6,00,000/- more to get her treatment completed and go back to her kids, who are currently staying with their grandmother.
