We run programs in two major areas— “Girl Child and Women Empowerment” and “Children Education” (Primary level- 6 to 14 year Age). Our Education program is named as “My School My Voice” and the Girl child as “Save the Girl Child”.
My School Voice, a process-oriented, participate approach inspired by the restiveness to bring change to increase attendance, retention and learning in schools.My School My Voice is an umbrella program which includes five different programs to improve the quality of education and increase retention & reduce dropouts. The program will run in 4 Municipal Corporation schools at Jaitpur in South Delhi. Four schools here function from one premise, reaching out to 8000 children (approx.) from marginalized and economically poor background.
We do different activities in all 5 areas of impact. Details below
1.Hygiene and sanitation
Program Delivery approach: We hold training sessions on ~15 key aspects, like Personal Hygiene, sanitation basics, cleanliness, etc. with children using IEC material, Audio visual Aids.
Frequency of the program: 3 sessions per week.
Outcome expected: 100% of children will be able to understand the Importance of hygiene and Sanitation in their daily life.
Funds utilized for: Fund would be used for IEC material, Audio visual Aids, trained faculty/Trainers
Target Group: Children of class Vth. (children who are unable to read and write) to ensure retention and reduce school drop outs
Program Delivery approach: Provide remedial classes on basic reading, writing and numeracy skills through self- developed training manuals and support of trained teachers.
Frequency of the program: 90 hours sessions (approx. four month). Remedial support for 1 hour daily in all four schools. (In school premises and at the time of school hours)
Outcome expected 100% of identified children will be able to learn basic competencies of Hindi and Math thus reduced dropout.
Funds utilized for: Training Manual, Syllabus, workbook for children, worksheets, Assessment Papers and full-time trained faculty / Trainers
Target Group: Children of class IIIrd to Vth.
Program Delivery approach: We hold training sessions on 11 Science concepts like properties of Magnet; Plant Growth, Newton's laws of Motion; Speed of Sound in solids/ liquids etc. with children Using Activity manual where children make science models or participate in model making activities based on 11 Science concepts.
Frequency of the program: 2 sessions per week
Outcome expected: Children will have the experience the science concepts in and interesting way And develop experimental approach. It will help in increasing interest of Children in science.

4. Teachers training
Target Group: Teachers
Program Delivery approach: Provide training session for teachers on making of teaching learning material; Class room management; positive discipline; pedagogical skill by trained consultants from education sector with their team.
Frequency of the program: 1 training per quarter
Outcome expected: 100% teachers will be able to deliver effective and engaging lessons.

5. POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offence)
Target Group: School administration including all teachers, guards, members of School Management Committee
Frequency of the program 2 trainings in a year
Outcome expected 100% teachers will be able to understand the Protection Law and protect children with in the school.
Funds utilized for: Expert Trainers
NOTE: For running all activities, will appoint 2 full time teachers,1 supervisor at project location and call experts for conducting different trainings. Fund will be utilized for salaries of teachers and supervisor, POCSO trainers, experts for teacher’s training. Funds also being used for teaching aids, workbooks for children, assessment papers, IEC material for awareness sessions and material for STEM classes.
We started My School My Voice program in December 2013 and ran for three years with MCD schools, with funding from UK. we got appreciation letters from Schools for our contribution towards betterment for children.
After that, we ran this program with support of BHEL, from 2017- till March 2018. So far , we have reached over 8000 children and have at least helped 1000+ children to continue in school and not dropout.
