Over time, we established a full time school for children from needy families and child labors and started actively pulling back the child labors to mainstream education.
Over time, we realized that parents weren't supportive as children were seen as a source of income. Hence, we started offering vocational training programs for adult siblings, parents of the child labors so they get employed and allow the children to complete their education.
We have been running the training programs successfully since over a decade now and have successfully trained and placed over 2500 adults.
At this juncture, we sorely need to improve our infrastructure to better the quality of education, facilities and exposure provided to the children of our school and adults in our vocational center. This fund raiser is targeting to establish a center of excellence to co host school and training center to facilitate empowerment across the poor and the needy section of the society.
