Rammohan is a cab driver from Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) who has been suffering from chronic kidney disease. Both his kidneys have failed and he is now undergoing dialysis in Kuppusamy Naidu memorial hospital, Coimbatore.

In order to survive, he needs to undergo a kidney transplant surgery, which costs around Rs. 5 lakhs, as per hospital.

Due to his disease, he could not go to work and his wife works as cook to meet their family's ends.
