My mother Ramadevi Nallapu, aged 52 years is battling a severe liver disease (Decompensated chronic liver disease) from last few months and she needs an urgent liver transplant to survive. She lost more than 25 kgs of weight in last 2 months and all she can eat is 3-4 spoons of a thick consistent ‘rice congee’ (which is equivalent to a 6 months old baby meal) and she cannot have any liquids because of her body condition. As per the current medical examination reports, 80% of her liver got damaged, due to which a lot of liquid is getting accumulated around the liver which is suppressing lungs functionality. She is really struggling to breathe and talk properly.
Based on her current condition, a committee of Apollo liver specialists recommended to go for an immediate liver transplantation which will cost us approximately 27 Lac INR (estimation has been attached below).
