Hi, I my name is mamta. Me and my family are raising funds for my cousin Parambir who lost both of his hands in electric shock accident in 2003. Since then we have visited hospital a million times as the infection was growing day by day. We have visited hundreds of doctors, thousands of hospitals and spent all the money we had.

My cousin was the most positive person i have ever known. I can't explain how it feels when you see your brother struggling for each and every thing. From having a glass of water to visit a toilet, he is dependent on someone. For days I couldn't believe if it was real, I wished if it was just a bad dream from which I will snap out any moment. I have seen my cousin losing his hope and strength every day. Years passed, he barely spoke to anyone in the house.

My brother who used to tease me all the time, is all quiet. I wish I could do something for him.

Then we heard about prosthetic hands and we decided to get these hands for him so we sent him to US,  using all our left over money. But our heart broke again when we came to know about the cost of these hands.  Doctors told us that, his treatment will cost approximately 40,000 US dollars. We have exhausted all our savings for his treatment so far.. It's been a tough time for us to manage funds for his treatment and we have already spent everything we had.
