Rainbow Life Children Home

Rainbow Life Children Home is a big family, for the children in need of care and protection are with the following categories Orphans, abandoned and destitute children, poor children, children separated due to migration or armed conflict, missing or run-away children, street children, children of sex workers, abused, tortured and exploited children, children indulging in substance abuse, children affected by HIV/AIDS, Children affected by natural calamities, emergencies and manmade disasters, children with disabilities and children suffering from terminal / incurable diseases.

The Routine of the Children Home

Hariksha People’s Welfare Trust is formed to serve thousands people who are suffering and dying in silence 2006.

Rainbow Life Children’s Home is serving the children who are all in need of care and protection. The children home is accommodating the children with various family situation such us the children without their parents, street wandering children, child labours, children with very poor economic condition.

We created a big family for these children, the children are getting all their basic needs. The children are provided with nutritious, tasty and variety food for three times in a day.

We are providing the children with adequate toiletries ie., Tooth Paste, Toothy Brush, Bathing Soap, Washing Soap, oil, sanitary pads for girls. This helps the children to keep them clean and hygiene.

The children are admitted in the various schools (Government School, Government Aided Schools, Private School). We are providing the children with two sets of uniform, all the educational materials, educational fees and the children are transported to the school by the school van.

The children are provided with four sets of casual dresses in a year, we are providing 1 set of dresses in the starting of the educational year and other two sets are provided to the children during the major festival celebration (Diwali, Pongal, New Year). Another one set of dress provided to the child during the birthday celebration.

Looking kind donation supports this deserving child to get the hygienic things, 4 sets of casual dress for one year and uniforms and help them to reach the schools for the period of one year. And 3 time mid day meals for the children one year

3 time food expenses of (13 Rs X 3 time X 360 working days X 33 Children)= 4,63,320.00

Evening snacks (boiled nuts or snacks)(4.00 X 360X 33 children) = 47,520.00

Milk and biscuits two times per day (6 litter X 360 X 40.00 ) = 86,400.00

Total                = 6,17,040.00
