Born and raised in New Delhi, Rahul picked the game at a very young age of 11 and soon became
a popular name in sub-Junior division of Indian amateur boxing in the year 2002-2003.

He was declared National Champion at Kolkata Nationals (2003) and went on to play YMCA
Internationals the same year and again was declared a champion there.

The series of good performance continued for years as he grabbed Gold twice, Silver once and a
Bronze medal at the National Championships. To go with that he is 7 time state champion with an
acclamation being declared twice as best boxer of the state. In the year 2008 at a young age due
to personal responsibilities he had to hang his gloves. He had to start working to support his family.

Rahul Ganguly went on to join corporate industry fulfill family basic needs.
Now at 26 it’s been more than  2.5 years that the champ
has not only made a comeback. Also, has featured in 4 professional fights with a scorecard of 3-1
with total 22 rounds of Professional boxing experience and also an aspiring WBF Asia Pacific title

His last bout was with a veteran from Philippines (Jack Aris) for 10 rounds in which he was
declared winner with the unanimous decision. His opponent was a veteran with 342 rounds of total professional boxing experience. 

Also, he has been in the world rankings (308), #1 in his weight division category in India. One of the top 15 Professional boxers in rankings in India. There is no doubt that he is real and not reel hero. His amateur boxing record is 76 – 4 which speaks it out loud.

Now, since he has fought 4 professional fights his eagerly wanting and aspiring to be world champion in professional Boxing. It's been more the 12 months that he is struggling to get a single fight. 

He wants to focus on his training and fights and for that it would require a basic/minimum amount. He is willing to give up his job and do training and take big fights make India proud by giving it's 1st  world champion in professional Boxing

He would require a monthly funds for his GYM, Diet, Training Boxing Equipment, Fights. Coach fee. The funds can be released on monthly basis or yearly. The total funds to raised mentioned is  the total for 1 year.
