Santosh Harishchandra Mohite a resident of Naghthane, Satara was enjoying a happy and healthy life, He is a full-time Karate coach working in the area of Karate coaching and self-defence training.

Lately in April 2021, unfortunately, he was attacked by COVID 19 pandemic and he fell prey to COVID with an HRCT score of 9, He was admitted to a Hosptial in Satara and was treated there for almost 8 weeks. However, there was no significant improvement and his health further deteriorated finally he was shifted to Kolhapur for further treatment and was diagnosed with permanent lung fibrosis and is on O2 support since then, 2-3 months of hospitalisation (spend of 35 lakhs) washed out entire savings and the family is under the loan.

Now in order to regain his previous health condition, he is advised a lung transplant which costs Rs 50 lakh and his family cannot afford the same. Request everyone to contribute and help Santosh to recover.

If you want to understand what struggle is in life, just meet Santosh Mohite once. Santosh Mohite Sir is from a small village in Satara. He is known all over India in the field of Shotokan Karate as a guru-like personality in training along with the players.
He has a 5th degree in Shotokan Karate and a 3rd degree in martial arts like Nanbudo.
So far 20 international players have produced 80 national players and more than 200 state level players. This includes government approved school games.
Along with Saran, his 50 coaches teach karate in Maharashtra, Satara, Pune, Raigad, Mumbai, Thane, Ahmednagar, and Daman, Diu, Rajasthan. Saran has so far given Rs 15 lakh in the form of scholarships to the players. And more than 25,000 women have received free self-defense training. He has also given special training to women police in Satara district.
Martial Arts has created its own martial arts game * Avon Swe * for the overall development of the players and is currently being played at the national and state level.
At a young age, he gave up a government job like SRF to devote his life to karate. Starting life from scratch again, Corona struck while he was on the cusp of success. 
For the past 6 months they have been fighting Corona. At various places like Satara, Karad, Kolhapur, Pune, even after getting treatment from various experts, they could not get out of it. In all these treatments, all their deposits have run out and now, as a solution, they will have to undergo lung transplantation, which is expected to cost Rs 40 lakh. However, we should all help this warrior as much as we can and get him out of this crisis.
