I am Mrs. Tiloka Mondal and I live in Panchanantala, P.O : Bally Durgapur, P.S : Nischinda, Dist : Howrah, Pin Code : 711 205, West Bengal with my Husband Sri Provat Mondal and a little child.
Suddenly, on 22.07.2016, my husband Sri Provat Mondal aged about 53 years was diagnosed with Metastatic adenocarcinoma of primary pulmonary origin like as lungs Cancer. On 06.08.2016, we consult the Cancer Specialist Dr.Prof.Santanu Pal at Nightingle Hospital, 11, Shakespeare Sarani, Kolkata – 700 71, West Bengal for further treatment. Same day my husband got admission in Hospital. On 07.08.2016, my husband got first cycle of Chemotherapy (PREMTA – 700 mg + CEMOCARD 4501 + RELIGRAST – 300 mg) and discharge from Hospital on 09.08.2016. But, the cancer had spread. The concerned doctor of Nightingale Hospital told us that it was impossible to cure him, if palliative treatment is worked routinely.
Since then, he had undergo 19(Nineteen) round of Chemotherapy(31.08.2016,21.09.2016,12.10.2016,22.11.2016,13.12.2016, 10.01.2017,08.02.2017,07.03.2017,04.04.2017,02.05.2017,30.05.2017, 27.06.2017, 01.08.2017,05.09.2017,10.10.2017,14.11.2017,21.12.2017,02.01.2018 and 30.01.2018). Thankfully, the treatments have had little side-effects. From the very beginning he is being treated at Nightingle Hospital, Kolkata.
As per recent Pet – Scan report (25.12.2017) the Cancer’s spread is progressing like as:
1. Pleural based mass in Right Lung middle lobs is increased in size and uptake(from 4.76 to 8.65)
2. Pleural effusion status quo, however gross irregular thickening of right pleura and interstitial thickening in right Lung are new appearance.
3. Mediastinal Lymphnodes are increased in number,size and uptake(from 2.16 to 11.09)
4. Right axillary, right supraclavicular and intra – abdominal Lymphnodes are new appearance.
5. FDG avid perihepatic peritoneal thickening and omental thickening are new appearance..
He is currently undergoing treatment at NIGHTINGLE HOSPITAl KOLKATA. He has been suffering for more than a year and it has been a tough time for me and my family. Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy is his only hope at getting better and living a normal life. His treatment will cost approximately Rs.1000000 INR.
Our oncologist has now recommended that, he be given Chemotherapy alongwith Radiotherapy continuously. He will need long term care and Chemotherapy alongwith Radiotherapy His future treatment will cost approximately Rs. 10,00,000(Rupees 10 Lacs) INR.
So, we are hoping that the continuous Chemotherapy alongwith Radiotherapy help my husband in his fight against Cancer. Despite his condition, he has a positive mind-set and is determined to not let Cancer defeat him.
In this contest, this over and above the expenditures we have to incurred on consultations, Chemotherapy and other tests of treatments which by itself, its significant. My husband has a little tea stall and his monthly income is Rs. 5,000.00(Rupees Five Thousand) only. Income Certificate of Government of West Bengal is attached herewith
I am a housewife and I have a little female Child aged 06(Six) years. I have blown through all my savings, ornaments on his treatment, while also having had to take loans from my relatives and friends. Till date already spent over Rs.5,00,000.00 INR on his treatment and I explained earlier, we have to spend a lot more, moving forward. His future treatment will cost approximately Rs. 10,00,000(Rupees 10 Lacs) INR.We are unable to pay for the treatment due to His future treatment will cost approximately Rs. 10,00,000(Rupees 10 Lacs) INR. As such, it would be impossible for us to do his further treatment on our own. As such, it would be impossible for us to do his further treatment on our own and I have created this campaign to seek financial help from anyone who is willing to help.

Doctor's Consultation Charges
• Radiotherapy
• Chemotherapy
• Hospital Bills
• Medicines.
All of us are eagerly awaiting his recovery. Once he gets better, I'm sure he would love to TO START HIS LITTLE BUSINESS AND THE EDUCATION OF HIS ONLY CHILD.
