Over the last two decades, India has seen tremendous economic growth. Yet, despite having one of the ten largest economies in the world, hunger in India is rampant. The International Food Policy Research Institute ranks India at 97th place for combating hunger. All throughout India, large numbers of people do not have enough to eat. Of the 1.3 billion living in India, over 194 million people or 14.5% are undernourished. This crisis is a severe problem throughout India. Additional to it, underprivileged families are badly affected by the pandemic and till date many are unable to find a decent earning job.

More than 20% of India’s population lives on less than $1.25 per day. This lack of money makes it so that many cannot get enough of the nutritious food they need. This situation is alarming and needs attention, therefore, I, Priyanshu Mehra , a Volunteer at Hamari Pahchan NGO has started this campaign to feed every human that I can. My goal is to let everyone have a meal before they sleep. The idea is not to live forever but maybe to help another live a little longer.


Recently, through a survey, it has brought to my attention that HUNGER is a major problem. So, I have decided to help them with the fund that am able to generate.

No amount is big or small, it's the contribution that matters! Afterall, we make a living from what we get and we make a life from what we give.
