Hello,
My name is Pratyush Bose and I am a volunteering intern at Hamari Pahchan, which is a nonprofit organization.
I think we can all agree that at one point or other 2 years back we all prayed to God to give us a break from office, school or work as we were annoyed by our daily routine, and I think that God took our prayers quite seriously. Now 2 years later we are stuck at our home and we can see the number of positive cases rising day by day and the number of people sucumed to the virus in India is 3.99 lacs as on 1st July 2021(and still counting), people are losing their beloved once, health sector is facing a shortage of employees, vaccines are not reaching the adequate population and many more problems are arising daily.
I took this project of covid to spread awareness and help those underprivileged people who neither have any protection against this widespread global pandemic nor have the knowledge of the risks involved if they get exposed to this virus.
Hamari Pahchan NGO is taking every possible step to help the one who is in need. We have pledged to distribute

1. Oximeter,
2. Masks,
3. Sanitizer,
4. Thermometer etc.

Medicine (consisting of vitamins and zinc capsules)
PPE Kit for 1 person costs around Rs. 2,800.
All of the above equipment will help people to monitor themselves at home only and in case of any problem they can consult the doctor at the very earliest to avoid any kind of emergency.
It's true that this lockdown gave us an opportunity to come closer to our families and learn and discover our hidden talents but it's a high time to come forward and do something for those who are in desperate need. Instead of spending hours in making insta reels, watching youtube, streaming movies etc.. you can dedicate atleast a small amount of your time and do something for the needy once and give them a ray of hope to live their life.
