On December 4th night my mother became unconscious all of a sudden, so we rushed to nearby KIMS hospital, Begumpet. Doctors said her left side of brain is damaged and blood flow is stopped due to clots, so they performed clot bursting procedure for 6 hrs and she was kept under observation. Suddenly on December 9th blood flow became severe and was about to bleed from brain so they did skull surgery and placed skull in the stomach.After this surgery was done, she was shifted to room and was able to open her eyes but unable to recognize anyone.
On December 24th, while was she was in rehabilitation center she faced an heart stroke, so again shifted to MICU and undergoing treatment and she was on ventilator and oxygen support.
Ever since, her recovery has been pretty slow with various infections being picked up from hospital settings and she was administered with multiple antibiotics continuously to fight various infections.
We have been supporting my mother emotionally, physically, financially and taking all positive steps to recover my mother at all cost.
Status of the family
We are from lower middle class family with limited medical insurance coverage gives a bitter learning when such life critical incidents happen to our near and dear ones. It has been more than 50 days and lump sum ( 20 Lakhs+) money had been spent for my mother's recovery.
All insurance/deposits/loans from myself and near-and-dear ones have been exhausted in this course. After all a lower middle class family does not have infinite source of income. Currently she is in MICU,KIMS, Begumpet undergoing treatment.
Just when we ran out of all money sources, we are seeing a glimpse of hope. The light at the end of the tunnel drives us to explore all options to save my mother's life.

The doctors have already indicated that the recovery would be a slow process due to brain injury. All that we are praying to Almighty now is to enable us support my mother so that she could recover to a reasonable level.
