Prakash Academy was started in 2016 with the single aim of providing quality education to the students of neglected areas.  Currently we are providing quality education to 300 students of Bhore Block of Gopalganj district. This was made possible with the help of friends and individual contributors from across the globe. Before the intervention, many of the students of class 5-6 were not able to read and write even basic Hindi. But now with the intervention in its 3rd year, we are witnessing tremendous progress among the students of this area. Prakash Academy was later registered as Cymatic Trust.

These students are trained through the latest technological solution by the carefully selected fellows from the same vicinity. The fellows are given training on pedagogy and content by the experts of education field and then only they are deployed in their own village.

The man behind this intervention is Pramod who after seeing the suffering of people from village returned back to India after leaving his lucrative job and started Prakash Academy. Having spent his childhood in extreme difficulties and then achieving great success such as studying at IIT and IIM and then working for MNCs in India and abroad, he has just lived the life of a person whose life got completely changed by education. So, instead of working for companies whole life, he thought of changing the lives of people like him by the intervention of education.  

Over the last two years, Prakash Academy has impacted 450 students in different ways. Now it aims to reach 1000 kids in 2019.
