PCMC EMS has a total of six football teams - Boys' and Girls' teams for U10, U12 and U14. We've been playing in the SFC Tournament held in January every year, which is an event held in major cities by the non-profit organization Just For Kicks. This year, we won the U10 boys category and stood runners-up in the U10 Girls, U12 Boys, U12 Girls and U14 Girls categories.
As part of their work, JFK will provide all partner schools with the following components:
However, we are running short of funds this year. Since the deadline for the fees submission is 31st July, we need your help to be able to make JFK happen for our kids.
We would be extremely grateful if you could contribute to make sure our kids can get the exposure that they deserve and get to play some good football!
This year, the kids can't wait for practice to start again. We registered six of our teams in categories we've been playing in for the past two years. The registration fees for each team is 5000/- (these are JFK's fees for TFI classrooms. Ideally, it's 63000/- per kid, inclusive of all the supplies and equipment each kid receives.)
As part of their work, JFK will provide all partner schools with the following components:
•JFK Coach to all schools, who will execute 48 sessions per team, which last 90 minutes each
•20 footballs, 40 place markers, 10 cones to each school for them to use for football and other activities
•1 pair of football shoes to all students + goalkeeper gloves
•Jerseys (football kit) to all teams in all schools
•Inter-school football league starting in October and ending in February
•Opportunities for students to play for professional clubs in the city
•Assessments for Technical Skills, Physical Fitness, and Life Skills
•Other opportunities for students to develop and gain exposure – like local or national football tournaments/events.
