I will say he is the most adorable, special and lucky dog.
His one leg is deformed but that didn’t stop him from loving, caring, cuddling, rolling on the ground, being mischievous, teasing and running as fast as his other four paw buddies.
His history is not different from any other abandoned and abused pets. Yes he was someone’s pet and was abandoned (very sure because he had a deformed leg) on the highway in the garbage barely 4-5 months old all rolled up in gutter waste and shit. His second hind leg was all twirled and the other one was severely infected. We couldn’t take any video at that point because it didn’t strike us. Unfortunately, we rescuer were more focused on rescuing him then taking video of his. But I am happy that no video was made than. It was nothing but depressing.
Thanks to Manjul and Umesh who decided to get Pepper with them and give him space (in their little feeding area) and give him all their love and support. Pepper was taken to the vet for his checkup. Vaccinations and other diagnosis were done. He was not ok, dehydrated, full of ticks and wounds on his neck and legs. With nonstop care and love he was a happy lil puppy soul again. Only sad news confirmed by Doctor was that his leg was deformed from birth. We didn't give up and made him do lots of exercise, but nothing worked. Finally, he was accepted with other dogs the way he was.
He is a super friendly, confident and a kid full of affection and love. You can see in the video to believe the same.
It’s been 5 months now, we have been working to find a forever home for him. Finally, he has got one in Portland Oregon. Thanks to his luck and all the guardian angels.
Request all of you to join me ONCE AGAIN to help Pepper reach his beautiful family.
We need around Rs.107000 to fly Pepper to his forever home.
But if we get lucky to find a FLIGHT VOLUNTEER , the amount will be around Rs.75000.
This is the quote that we have got from the pet flying agency.
All the above cost includes: microchipping, ticket, paperwork (export permit and health certificate), excess baggage charge, crate + crate training.
