Rescue Story
Hi, I am Jyoti. I found Pari on the main road with a badly fractured leg. Paying no attention to her own injury, Pari was busy trying to protect her two newborn puppies. Her puppies were extremely weak and malnourished and unfortunately, they did not survive.
Pari has been in a boarding since November and we have had no takers for her. Pari has found kind people who are helping her find a home abroad, in Chicago. We are in need of funds to enable that. Pari is a sweet girl who does not deserve to spend her life without a family to call her own. Every penny counts, please donate to help Pari!
An introduction to Pari
My name is Pari (Hindi for ‘fairy’). I am even tiny like a fairy! I was rescued in India, and I can’t wait to find my forever family in the USA. Since I am not a pup anymore, nobody in India seems to be interested in adopting me. People also get disappointed when they see that I am not a purebred.
I am a small, two-year old female who was found on the side of a road in New Delhi. When my rescuer approached me, she could tell that I was friendly, and that I was snuggling two new-born pups. We were extremely skinny and weak, and I also had a fracture on my hind leg. I am sad to share with you that my pups did not survive due to their malnourished state. After some time and wonderful care, I regained my health. I am spayed now so I don’t produce more babies so no more of my babies suffer the way they did.
Now, my slight limp is the only sign of my early life! I am a super happy, playful girl and have several doggie friends. I am excellent with all the children, and I enjoy riding in the car. I am well-behaved in the house, and I am progressing with my leash-walking. Soon, I will be joining a terrific foster family where I can experience crate-training and practice meeting new dogs. I am the perfect age for adoption because I don’t do much of that “puppy stuff” anymore, but I can learn so many new things with your guidance.
