Water cup competition is bringing revolution and motivating thousands to volunteer and making villages drought free. This year 1300 villages in Maharashtra have participated in Water Cup competition. One such villages is Ambale in Purandar taluka, Pune (Maharashtra,India).
In order to complete the water conservation project, site need to use digging machine machines like JCB along with manual work. There is requirement of total 800 hours of JCB work to complete total project. Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana (BJS, Pune) provides JCB once enough amount of manual work ‘ShramaDaan’ has been done in the village and villagers have demonstrated the will to fight drought. We have completed targeted manual work in given timeframe so Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana has approved contract of JCB for 250 hours but we have to spend on Diesel expenses.
One hour diesel expenses for JCB is around Rs.350/- to Rs.500/- For 250 hours we have requirement of Rs.87,500/- if calculate with minimum expenses.
Estimated expenses for remaining 550 hours will be, 750/-Rs (JCB rent + diesel Charges) * 550 Hours = 4,12,500/- Rs
Total expenses to complete project is 87,500 +4,12,500 = 5,00,000/- Rs
I request you to donate some amount for the cause, this will enable us to complete the project before it starts raining. Your minimum contribution is also very valuable for us.
