I am writing to you requesting help for someone I know Mr. Selvaraj, who is diagnosed with Cancer.

He is the sole bread winner, with three mentally unwell children. He complained of a back pain initially, later to be diagnosed with Cancer. Some of us have supported Mr Selvaraj and his children over a period. Not able to manage the costs and after running helter skelter, the family has shifted him to Chennai first VS hospital, now KKR Cancer Hospital, and is currently under the care of Dr. Vijayasarathi, who has promised recovery. I am trying to make efforts to help Mr Selvaraj and his family with necessary funds, and hence I reach out to you for any financial support.

I have known the family for a very long time. I tried to contact him for a small job, that's when I got to know he was very ill and was shifted to Chennai. The worst part is, he was engulfed in his children' health issues. Working hard to get them medical support. He has three children, including a girl child of 16 years. All three kids at the age of 9 started showing signs of mental unstableness. The couple were devastated and withdrew themselves from the outside world, concentrating completely on the kids to get them normal.  The wife is not educated and does some stitching at home. Both are related to each other and both their parents are no more. Living in a leased home. Mr Selvaraj used to undertake civil contract jobs. He is immobile now, because his rectum, spinal cord is affected. The wife is with him in Chennai, the children are left all alone in Bangalore with a distant family member giving them food. It's heart wrenching to see them suffer so much. The children need support even to go to the wash room.
