Thank you for sparing out time from your busy schedules and giving this a read.
This is a teenage girl, trying to make a difference in the world.
My favorite words are possibilities, opportunities, and curiosity. If you are curious, you create opportunities and then opportunities open doors for you to create possibilities. This academy that I am raising funds for paves way for all three.
The Future Legal Leaders Academy is a 5-day interactive training for law students and young lawyers
to fine-tune and develop the skills that will help me be part of the top 1 %. Aside from this, I will also get an opportunity as part of a bonus module to get advice from the Admissions Director of Harvard Law school, "Heather Wallick".
As regards my background, I am enrolled in an Undergraduate Law course and Help Various NGO'S free of cost with legal advice. Other than that Some of my work includes volunteering with the UN India organization for Earth day, acting as a delegate at a Harvard conference.
These two experiences have given me exposure to a multitude of perspectives regarding various problems in our society today but they have also helped me learn that I find the complex issues and grey areas exhilarating to work with. Also my key learnings there were about structural inequality faced by many in our society and these opportunities have reaffirmed my commitment to using the law as a means to promote social justice and public policy.
I think my idea's and perspectives are vital to the forthcoming discussion, and hence, I request you to help me in reaching out to the platform. Monetary limitations have killed many dreams and a lot more hopes, but I'm still hopeful because I am persistent.
This fund raised will be used for flight tickets and any un-foreseen extra causes.
I have received a bursary from the program of 600+ euros, However, since I am a student, I need help with the said amount.
