“National Welfare Association for the Blind®” came together in Tumkur in 2008 to fight the social and economic inequality of blind people. We believe in celebrating the achievements of blind people. We see blindness not as a handicap, but as a challenge to be overcome. We provide means for the blind to get educated and develop skills necessary to find employment. We work to establish positive and productive roles for blind people in the workplace and to educate the public about our organization.
