Born with an unknown disorder causing swelling in the leg, parents of baby Pragya strive to get treatment with a daily earning of INR 300.
Pragya the 18-month-old daughter of Virendra Kashyap and Rinki Kashyap was born normal, at least that's what her parents thought before her leg started swelling day after day.

Living in the town of Mandla, Madhya Pradesh, where medical facilities are not the best, the parents were unable to know the cause for the swelling.
While some doctors were unable to diagnose the condition of Pragya, others doubted that there is a blocked vein in her leg. Some even refused to treat her, saying that the girl was too small for this.

After running to all the senior doctors in Mandla, Virendra decided to take his daughter to Nagpur only to be told that there was no problem with the infant. However, the doctor recommended another specialist who asked Virendra to get baby Pragya after six months.

But Virendra did not plan to stop and decided to go to another doctor in Udaipur, only to be disappointed upon finding that Pragya's disorder was not involved in the specialist's field of expertise.
But the two didn't stop and took Pragya to a hospital in Indore where the doctor presumes that she is suffering from Congenital Amniotic Band Syndrome. Here, a strand from the amniotic sac entangles with a part of the fetus. The problem caused varies from the location and how tightly the strand is wrapped.

The doctor has said that Pragya will need to undergo multiple surgeries and even then she would have to keep her feet under wraps. The doctor also fears that the inflammation may spread to other regions.
Disappointed with the outcome, the parents wish to take their daughter to a better specialist. They had been recommended a doctor in Hyderabad, but their financial conditions stop them from doing so.

With an earning of INR 300 per day, which Virendra gets through his fruit shop, almost half of the amount is spent on his three children - the twins and baby Pragya. Virendra now finds it hard to continue supporting his daughter's treatment.
Pragya's mother, Rinki Kashyap often breaks into tears thinking about her daughter's condition. She recalls the many sleepless nights the two have spent worrying about the little one.
On seeing her daughter struggle with the discomforting swelling, the mother can't help but worry.

Now they are unable to escape from the feeling of suffocation that they get from the guilt of not being able to give their youngest a normal life.
Being a native of the poor and backward region of Mandla, the parents now slowly lose their hopes of providing proper treatment for Pragya.
Mandla is a place where there is a lack of medical facilities and good doctors. This can be seen with their inability to even diagnose the condition of their daughter which makes the situation even harder. Providing for a family of five, travelling to places with better facilities, getting treatment all while running their fruits shop is not possible for Virendra.

Left with no other option, the family has turned to the people for help. They hope that some kindhearted benefactors can help save their daughter from a crippled life.
They plead for donors everywhere to help the vulnerable parents, who are now left with nothing but the will to provide their daughter with a normal life.
