Ms Namita Singhal, age 38, mother of two beautiful children aged 9 and 12 (boy and girl respectively) who resides in Ahmedabad is currently suffering from severe lung infection post Covid. She was diagnosed with Covid-19 on Apr 20th 2021 and admitted in ICU on 30th Apr 2021 as her Oxygen levels had come down below 90%.
She was initially kept on O2 support, then had to be taken on BIPAP and then with further deterioration, had to be taken on Ventilator and eventually on ECMO (External lung support). She has been on ECMO support since more than 48 days in Zydus hospital Ahmedabad till 15th July.
The expense for ECMO is anywhere between 1.5 lakhs and 2 lakhs Per Day.
The family’s total expenditure on her treatment has crossed 1 Cr so far and looking at the current condition, it is expected to cost around 1.5 to 2 Cr MORE.
She has now been shifted to MGM Healthcare, Chennai by Air Ambulance (cost 15L) on 16th July for further treatment.

The family has been trying hard to revive her condition by all means possible. They have done their best in arranging for the monetary expenditure till now. However, now the amount has started creeping beyond manageable levels and started getting stressful. In such times of acute emotional trauma, we all can help them with at least the monetary expenditure apart from our prayers. Hence it is a very humble request to contribute whatever amount possible, by each one of us, towards her treatment and relieve the family off some stress in such tough times. No amount is small.
