Hi Everyone,

We all always think about making our home(earth), but we seldom get time to do something towards it and make it a better place. I will straight get to my story what I did.

After getting these thoughts in my mind, I decided to go little bit greener in my way of living. I wanted to use solar energy to power my home. After more than 6 months of research, I bought the necessary equipments one by one at a time. Then setup a solar power system which can power my home through whole night and get charged during day time.

Below are the numbers:

100 Watts Solar Panels X 3 = 300Watts

120 Ah Used battery X 6 = 720 Ah = 7.2KWh

Yes the 300watts panels charges the battery to full on a sunny day but takes a bit on a cloudy day. I bought all the things with my own savings I had. So I am creating this fundraiser to help me do more and contribute to a greener future.

Equipments I bought:

6 X batteries = Rs. 21000

3 X Solar Panels = Rs.8000

1 X Solar Inverter = Rs.2600

We all use non-renewable energy sources for our daily needs. From petrol/diesel in automobiles to LPG gas in kitchen. Also one of the main things we take for granted is the electricity we use. Most of the electricity we use is made from non-renewable energy sources. How long we can use it? Will our future generations get the freedom of using these energy sources like we do now? When we worry about these questions, the answer is right there too. In fact, the answers are there all this while, we were just blind to it.

Solar and Wind energy is the answer.

These energy sources are absolutely FREE. Yes we can live freely by depending on these energy sources. It did take a lot of time for us to research and make use of these energy sources in an efficient way. These energy sources are not consistent. Storage was the main problem all the way and still now. Energy storing devices are batteries are getting cheaper each year, but not yet affordable for a common citizen of earth.
