Sukhad Project, an initiative by Hamari Pahachan NGO aiming to provide 50,000 sanitary kits to underprivileged and poor women. Poor women, especially in rural areas, face a lot of difficulty to get a clean piece of cloth during their menstrual cycle. There is a lack of awareness about menstrual health and hygiene. Women thinks that getting periods is something they should be ashamed of and they end up using dirty clothes which leads to rashes and infection. Hamari Pahchan NGO spreads awareness regarding menstrual hygiene. We aim to provide 50,000 sanitary kits to underprivileged and poor women. 1 KIT will guarantee 3 months of menstrual hygiene and comfort to an underprivileged women.
