Help Me Join Jagriti Yatra 2016

I'm Aparna, 23 yrs old, doing Masters in Business Administration from CUSAT, Kerala. Though I hail from a family with no business background, all I want is to initiate a socially responsible venture.

In my first year at college four of us initiated a project which is at its first stage of implementation. Although the technological development of the country is appreciable there still exist some huge problems in the fields of waste management and natural resource utilization. Therefore it is at this context that we plan to make our presence. We will be concentrating on utilizing the renewable resources and to provide the common man with quality products at affordable price.

 I am one among the 10 selected for “JAGRITI YATRA 2016" (http://www.jagritiyatra.com/about) , a 15 day rail trip through the length and breadth of India covering 8000kms, meeting  role models, change-makers, leaders who made a difference in the society. Few youngsters, selected from thousands of applicants, many from smaller towns and villages, join the Yatra every year, with the goal of creating awareness and start a movement of 'building India through enterprise'.
The number of social entrepreneurs in the country are really encouraging but still, the women share in these ventures disappoint me.So this journey I believe will help me to inspire those around me and Make a Change.This is my opportunity to build my dream. Whats better than a train full of young, brilliant minds buzzing with ideas.

I was able to get through the screening process and secure a sponsorship of 50% and still need around 34000 to ensure my seat on the train.I'm attaching a screenshot of my acceptance mail.Do support and help me Make a Change!
