Why am I fundraising?

This cause is very close to my heart and so I am dedicating the coming year to these people who have been dealt a raw hand in life. Maher ashram as the name suggests is "the mothers home" to those who had nowhere to go. 

Maher Ashram was set up in 1997 with a view to care for & shelter women & children; simultaneously equipping them with skills & capabilities, to ensure life-long rehabilitation.  Today, an officially registered NGO with the UN, Maher’s continued efforts have led to the birth of 28 children’s homes, 5 women’s homes & 1 home for men.

This year I am pleadging my birthday to contribute to the Maher Ashram centre to build a home for thie HIV cases.
