What happens when a little boy’s dreams get shattered because of cancer
Navdeep Reddy is a 13 year old boy from Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh.
He hails from a very poor family. The entire family depends on his father’s agricultural income
Despite his humble background Navdeep dreams big. He dreams of becoming an IAS officer and serving the country. He works hard and is very good at studies.
About 4 months back, he had unbearable pain in his left leg. The family consulted the local doctor.
He was treated with normal tablets but the pain wouldn’t stop. He was then referred to a hospital where through CT Scan and Xray they found out a lump.
It was then diagnosed as Cancer
The lump was removed with the surgery. But Navdeep has been advised to get better treatment and he signed up with HCG Hospital.
Today Navdeep’s dreams are on hold thanks to the cancer. He cries because of the unbearable pain. He finds it difficult even to sit properly.
He will be undergoing several cycles of chemotherapy.
The family is in need of large amount of money to complete the treatment.
DJ’s 100 speech Marathon.
Deepak Justin fondly called as DJ is attempting a 100 speech marathon to raise funds for Navdeep on Saturday the 15th of December 2018 at St. Joseph’s Institute of Management, Primrose Road, Bangalore, from 8 am onwards.
DJ will be delivering 100 speeches on the run in every genre of pubic speaking beginning with a Welcome address to a Vote of Thanks. The speeches will include every genre of oratory like a motivational speech, a persuasive speech, a stand up, a classroom lecture, an inspirational speech, a TED talk, a eulogy, raising a toast, a campaign speech, a sermon etc.,
The entrance is free and the endeavor is to raise funds for Navdeep
