Donate For Electrification Of Largyab Village In Ladakh(GHE-2019)

I am a Master's student in Disaster Management at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai with a background in Electronics Engineering. Having being raised in the lap of Himalayas, in the valley of Dehradun, I have observed that life in mountains is tough.

Global Himalayan Expedition is an initiative focused on providing education and energy access to remote Himalayan Communities by organizing Leadership Expeditions. It aims to light up villages in Ladakh by capturing solar energy. I, therefore, request the audience here to kindly help me in this cause as this would help the people of Ladakh.

The expedition cost i.e. $2800 includes my contribution towards the solar panels, batteries and micro-grid material for electrification of the village along with all the ground logistics, food and accommodation. This cost doesn't include any flight tickets to Leh and returns. Hence the additional cost mentioned would cover the travel and clothing required for the 9 days stay.
