Technology for leveraging Music master born with visual impairment
As a dedicated music teacher, my music master Mr.Ravi Ganesh, 42 years old, does his best to ensure that his students learn music well.
He has been teaching in schools since 1996 but currently, he is being challenged by lack of job opportunities as a music teacher at schools mainly due to their expectations that a visually challenged person can't fulfill or because he is overqualified for the position that they are expecting.
With a strong positive attitude and will power, he decided to expand his music profession. Apart from school, he has been running a small music institute since 20 years and also since 8 years he has been taking online music classes through skype using a laptop he has been donated.
He wants to stand on his own feet by taking more online vocal music classes. Having equipped with knowledge of using a computer and with the help of talking software, he operates computer very well. He wants to buy a new laptop since his present laptop (Pentium 4 CPU) is quite slow and needs to be replaced.
We are planning to buy a DELL laptop i3 model which costs about Rs.35000/-.
Due to his present financial crisis, he wants to seek the help of crowd funding so that he could leverage his profession in music.

Hi. With amount that was remaining after purchasing smartphone, i.e., Rs.1900, we have purchased Electronic Tanpura which amounted to Rs 3,390/-. Our music teacher is now conducting his classes more effectively using this device which is far better than earlier used recorded Tanpura being played from his phone.

My music master started learning to use this smartphone after getting some introductory training on operating phone using "Talkback" software.Here is the video of him using the phone to make a call while his son is eager to support him when required!

Dear supporters, we have received a laptop that we were wishing to buy with the funds raised. Fortunately one of my music master's student who currently resides in USA, had come forward to buy the laptop in USA and send it to sir. So, our goal for laptop has got fulfilled.
The next important thing that we really want support for is to buy a budget Android smartphone. This will be of real help for my music master to get benefits of smartphone.
Hence, I would like to assure you that we shall make use of the funds for productive purposes.
