Periventricular Leukomalacia (PVL) is a type of brain injury that affects infants. The condition involves the death of small areas of brain tissue around fluid-filled areas called ventricles. The damage creates "holes" in the brain.

Baby Kyna turned 4 yrs old on 13th May 2017 & is suffering from Periventricular Lukomalacia since her birth. She is also diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy (CP). The type she is suffering from is called Quadriplegia – i.e., Both arms and both legs are affected.

Her parents have exploited all of their savings, funds & policies to provide with the best possible care for their child. A recent trip to Nanhai Woman Maternity & Children Hospital, Nanhai, China which costs about Rs.8,00,000/- (Rupees Eight Lakhs) with stay, food & treatment has given them loads of hope for a close to 85% recovery of their child. The hospital in China has requested minimum 11 such sessions with the child each ranging for a minimum of 22 days. The costs involved obviously is not within the reach and capacity of every individual.

After a lot of research we have managed to locate a cheaper alternative in Kerala which is very well managed & a highly recommended centre for CP. Jivadhara Institute of Neuro Development & Research is a combination of Chinese originated acupuncture and Italian originated Electro homeopathy (www.jivadhara.com). Dr. Sr. Mary Eassy MD (AM). PhD is the founder and pioneer of Jivadhara.

Your generous contribution towards the support of this treatment & her overall upbringing will ensure Ms. Kyna of a happy life & a semi-independent future. If you are able to support us through this contribution we would highly appreciate it... And so will the Mishra Family.

As her uncle, I am being a one point contact for the family in their struggle against CP, I can help you with any further information that you may require about the child, the family, the treatment or the institute. Please feel free to contact me for the same.
