Help 15-Year-Old Aaditya to fight Guillian Barre Syndrome(GBS)

I am Supriya. Aditya’s sister. This campaign is started to raise funds to save my little brother.

An extraordinarily brilliant boy
Aditya is an unusually talented boy who has been securing 1st place in all his examinations in academics. He can solve Rubik's cube of 3*3, 4*4 and 5*5 of any combination within 21 secs. He loves books and doesn't take him more than an hour or two to finish any book. His favorite pass time is to read the tinkle digest. Even though he is still in school but he loves reading magazines related to science project, astronomy, space activities.
Aaditya is the Mathematics Wizard of India 2017, gold medalist in English & Mathematics Olympiad.

Illness:
GBS (Guillain-Barré Syndrome) – is a rapid-onset muscle weakness and loos of muscle function caused by the immune system damaging the peripheral nervous system often resulting in paralysis.
He was completely healthy till 7th July, 2018. In the afternoon he complained about swollen throat and within no time everything changed. Even before we could understand fully what exactly is happening with Aditya, the disease progressed rapidly and caused full paralysis of hands and legs in just 48 hrs. In the next 24 hrs he had to be put on ventilator to support his system. From July 8th to August 24th, Aditya fought for his life in the ICU. We were completely shaken as a family and just couldn’t understand how suddenly a rare disease has engulfed my 15-year-old brother who perfectly fine just a day before. As each day passed with Aditya in the ICU, we prayed for Aditya to keep fighting for his life . Aditya is now out of ICU and kept in the tracheostomy ward.

This rabid, life threatening and rare disease has totally turned our lives upside down. Since 2 months, we have spent our days and nights with Aditya in the hospital. Today, we have exhausted all our savings and borrowed money from our relatives to keep the treatment going. Aditya is on the path to recovery but my father is struggling to arrange for more funds to keep the treatment going. He worked for the last 26 years as an advocate and had saved money for Aditya and my future. Today, my father has lost everything and is struggling to arrange for more funds to continue Aditya’s treatment.

Please help to continue Aaditya’s treatment as he battles this rare debilitating illness.

Dear Donors,
Thank you for the wonderful support!
Here is a quick update!
Aaditya is doing well and he is able to get up by himself. He cannot walk by himself and needs the support of two-three people to walk as his leg muscles are still weak. He still can't hold a walker to support him because his fingers don't have much grip yet. The doctors said that he'll at least take one-two months to completely recover.
Thank you for all the love and support!
Regards
Supriya
