Rahin Pegu is a budding engineer from the small town of Majuli in Assam. He is suffering from multiple organ failures, jaundice and heart conditions that are life-threatening. He is currently being treated in Nemcare Hospital, Guwahati.

His father is a postman and cannot afford the expensive treatment that Rohin requires. The family has spent all of their money and piling on debt just to keep Rohin breathing, and have him recover from his suffering.
