    This fundraiser will benefit

    Government of Kerala

    from SAN JOSE

We started this crowdfunding for those who want to do a contribution but have difficulty doing an international transfer.

Kerala is in the midst of an unprecedented flood havoc. The calamity has caused immeasurable misery and devastation. Many lives were lost. Hundreds of homes were totally destroyed and many more were damaged. For the first time in history, 33 dams in the State had to be opened. Never before had the State witnessed a calamity of this scale. In the fight against the flood, we have braved the odds.

Now it is our duty to help the affected rebuild their lives. The path to recovery can be long & arduous, but you can make a difference by joining the rebuilding efforts.

We will run this till August 31st. We will be closing any fundraising after that and process the transfer of funds.

Who is responsible?
I/We will personally make sure that 100% of it gets to State's Disaster Relief Fund. We will save proof of transfer of this fund to government authorities.

As of now, we have a team of 5 running the campaign let me know if you or your team would like to actively join this campaign and I will add your names here. Let's join as one country and support the fellow brothers and sisters.

Transfer of funds.

We will directly transfer all proceedings from this campaign to the Kerala Government Distress Relief Fund.

Clarity of Usage of funds?

Total estimated damage as of yesterday (08/14) was Rs.8000 Crores which is around $1.1Billion US dollars. This will only rise in the coming days since the rain is still going on without a break. But who would benefit? - Unfortunately, we won’t get that level granularity for the funds we send.

I still got questions, is there someone I can talk to?

I, Sanal Panicker will be reachable, you can click on the mail campaign organizer and reach out over email. We can even talk over the phone - let me know.
