Kerala, known as "God's own country" has been affected with unprecedented rains and floods recently. More than 300 people lost their lives and several thousand people lost their homes. It is heartening to see the Kerala government and, volunteers and local groups coming together to provide immediate relief and rescue to the people who are affected. Having seen the Chennai floods in 2015, I understand the pain and trauma one goes through. It will take a lot more effort to help people to resume normalcy. People in Kerala need our support and let us come together to pitch in!.
