Story

Our Appeal:
Kerala reeling under, the worst floods in 100 years. The flood has paralysed normal life of millions of people. Lakhs of people have been affected and thousands of victims are in desperate need of relief supplies. Flood has also affected several districts of Orissa.

AIM INDIA FOUNDATIONis responding to the disaster to support the people of Kerala. Since inception Aim India Foundation is Trying to help the under privileged and the persons in disaster.

Through the years we educate common masses about sensitivities of giving in disasters, creating a culture of mindful giving. In disaster zones relief material acts as tool for involving people in rebuilding their lives & damaged infrastructure. In addition to this, AIF also strives to bring attention to preventable disasters like winter to reduce deaths and suffering in this season primarily due to non- availability of clothing.

Flood water has washed away and damaged the homes of thousands of people in the state who are now living in relief camps and makeshift shelters. They have almost no access to clean drinking water and basic sanitation facilities. Due to waterlogged surroundings and unavailability of toilets, people are resorting to open defecation, leading to an epidemic of water-borne diseases. This will create a second disaster for people who are already suffering.

We need your support to provide urgent rehabilitation and long-term assistance to the affected communities. Your contributions will help save lives.
