Hearing impairment is a silent disease that afflicts the most vulnerable of our society: Children. Lack of hearing automatically means a lack of quality education, low or no job opportunities. Today it is possible to recommend correction in the form of Cochlear Implant and if it is done on time, she can hear and speak normal language. She can attend regular school and be a part of the mainstream society like any other child.
Kavya's Cochlear Implant Surgery is scheduled by the end of August, 2018 which will cost about Rs 784,000/-.
Her father, Mr. Mangesh Deshmukh, works as an Electrician and his earnings and saving can't cover the cost of this procedure. He has tried his best and was able to get funds from various charitable organization and has also secured government aids. Few of them are CM, Maharshtra, PM,India, Shirdi Sai Sanshthan etc. In all, he has managed to arrange Rs 550,000/- and he is trying his best to get more from other sources but the Implant Surgery date is nearing by and he needs some help.
