Life is a struggle for poor people. Managing finance for daily chores tests the strength of their back-bone every day. They need to earn their breads for every single day. They can't afford to be diseased but then it’s not in their control. Even a minor disease can throw them onto the streets. Imagine what would happen if Cancer attacks them, which can easily destabilize anyone of us.

60 years old Kaushaliya devi is one such unfortunate poor lady who is fighting with a severe mouth cancer. She is currently undergoing Chemo and Radiation therapy. Kaushaliya devi and her family hail from flood affected region in north Bihar. Frequent floods forced them to move to Faridabad and find work. Her husband is a rikshawalla and her son Jai is a welder. The family was somehow fighting their poverty and now they have another enemy, Cancer, ready to crush their lives.

Fortunately, AIIMS Delhi is treating her with regular Radiation therapy combined with Chemotherapy at a heavily subsidized rate. Although treatment cost is manageable for the poor family, it is difficult for her family to pay for expensive medicines, radiation nets etc. which are not available for free. Jai, the primary earning member has to stay with his mother at AIIMS during the treatment which is hampering their household income. Kaushaliya devi and Jai have to sleep on the footpath, outside AIIMS as they do not have enough money to return back to Faridabad, everyday.

  
 
Jai has already used up all his savings to fund his mother's treatment and even had to borrow money from his friends, which he is unable to repay as he has no source of income now.
The cost in cancer therapy is recurrent and money is required for every visit which is almost daily or every other day. It's impossible for Jai to continue the treatment of his mother without your support.
The funds raised will be used towards medicine for Kaushaliya Devi while she is undergoing therapy at AIIMS.
